The kids at The Bradley Center in Robinson Township need your help-to have fun! The Bradley Center is a residential behavioral healthcare organization that provides hope and healing to children ages six through 18. Most of the children have at least one mental health diagnosis and have experienced trauma in their pasts. In order to help motivate them to work hard in school and in therapy, Bradley recruits volunteers (like you!) to do fun, interactive activities with them. We’re looking for single volunteers, as well as groups of up to 15, to hang out with a small group of kids and play board games, do an arts and crafts activity, play indoor/outdoor sports games, or any fun activity that you can think of! You’re welcome to come up with your own activity, or have the staff at Bradley plan one for you. If you have a particular gender or age group that you prefer to work with we can make that happen! These events typically take place on weeknights from 5:30-7:30pm during the school year, but over the summer the activities can be during the day or in the evening. The volunteer commitment is flexible-you can volunteer just once, or on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. The kids at Bradley can’t wait to meet you!
