Love animals? Want to help in your community? Equine Aid Horse and Donkey Rescue is seeking friendly volunteers who love animals and want to help.
Mission: Providing rescue and rehabilitation, adoption or sanctuary for at-risk equines and serving as a voice against all abuse.
We ask all volunteers commit to 3-4 hours a week. This can be spent grooming, cleaning stalls, barn chores, or just spending time with the animals. We do accept students who need community services hours for school as well.
If interesting please email Heather for more information at heather@equineaid.org or visit our website at www.EquineAid.org and fill out our online Volunteer Application.

Description
Equine Aid is a labor of love and hope. We are thankful for our wonderful Board of Directors and all the volunteers who help us care for the animals. There are many ways to help here. We hope that every person who has assisted us, in any capacity, knows how important they are to the successful rehabilitation, training and placement of our rescued equines.
We have an ongoing need for volunteers who care for the animals and facility. Please contact us to ask any questions or sign up to help! We welcome everyone who is interested in horses, ponies and donkeys. No experience, no problem! We will teach you while keeping you safe.
We have been in operation since 1999. During these years we have struggled to train our animals over the winter as we have no covered area other than the shelters and stalls. During 2020 we are initiating a fund drive to cover our round pen . When it is covered we will be able to maintain training and increase community education as well as using it for rescue events. If you have skills that can help us reach this goal, please contact Geri at: geri@equineaid.org.
