Porchlight is looking for new volounteers! Help us help the homeless!

Porchlight is a resource center/shelter available for homeless individuals. At Porchlight, we service a multittude of guests with many different needs. One of Porchlight's positive community programs is Porchlight Products. This program creates quality products from locally grown produce, and sells these products to local markets for a fair price. This program also provides training for a variety of job and life skills to people with a wide range of disabilities. The confidence they develop helps them to be productive members of society.

We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with this program. Volunteers in this position will be working side by side with clients in order to help produce and package food products. Ideal volunteers would meet the following criteria:

  • willing to commit 4 hours/week
  • organized, reliable
  • positive attitude!
We look forward to hearing from you!
