PT Admin Coordinator. Circle of Care is an aware winning social innovation that works to end social isolation for vulnerable elders through arts, culture, educational free access and social engagment opportunties. We unite the generations through the arts by providing free concert and event tickets to volunteers who provide transporation and escort services. We are seeking a well organized, positive, patient person with a lovely clear phone manner, to connect elders to our resources and volunteers with elders. You will work with our volunteer team of driver/companions for smooth transportation, effective community impact and joyful service.

Social Media Skills, Online Cause Marketing/Fundraising, Nonprofit Business Development also helpful.

Mission Statement

CIRCLE OF CARE ELDER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM Circle of Care is dedicated to building inclusive, accessible, caring communities for older persons and people with disabilties by ending the plague of isolation and loneliness due to physical, cognitive or financial challanges. Circle of Care works to unites the generations across cultures through the arts, education and social/civic engagement.

Description

Circle of Care provides access to the Arts, Education and intergenerational cultural experiences to build a more inclusive stronger community for older adults and in turn, people of all ages in Boulder County. We access the finast cultural events Boulder has to offer and provide transportation, tickets and a companion to seniors and our volunteer companions who provide door to door, arm in arm assistance. Our cultural partners include The Colorado Music Festival, The Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra,CU.Pepsi Center, Met Opera, University of Colorado, Boulder Theater and much more.

In 2012 we provided over 10,000 free volunteer assisted rides to over 200 performances and accessed and distributed over $500,000 of in-kind resources.

We have won many awards for our social innovation project and this year a national best practice designation from the MetLife Foundation and Partners for Livable Communities in Washington DC. Learn more about us and get involved!
