The College of Pharmacy at Ferris State University is looking for individuals who have a diagnosed chronic health condition and take two or more medications. Inidivudals will serve as health mentors for pharmacy students in the Grand Rapids area. Volunteers will develop meaningful relationships with the students sharing their health-related expreeinces and play a role in training future health professionals.

You will be paired with three pharmacy students. You will meet with these same three students together four times during the year. Each meeting date will be set up between you and the students at least seven days in advance. Meeting dates are in September, October/November, February and March/April.

At each visit, the students will have topics to cover with you. You will also be able to tell students about events in your life, your health history, any health care concerns or problems and what you think makes a good pharmacist.
