CIMA Hospice is offering Volunteer opportunities to work with the community. The hours are flexible, and evening, daytime and weekend opportunities are available, with both indirect and direct time with patients and families, depending on your interests and availability. Students are also welcome to volunteer. Our patients are eager to have friends to play cards, talk to, listen to music, do crafts, read to, and laugh with. No two patients are the same, Hospice is not a destination but rather a community that assists in the end of life care of those ready to prepare. Talk to us more about what Hospice really means, and how we as a community can DeBunk the false stigma, and help others.
Direct work opportunities include:
Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families
Provide phone support for patients and family
Nursing home activities such as Bingo, Arts and Crafts, Ice Cream Socials!
- And so much more!
