Brookside Gardens has many beautiful gardens, including the very popular Rose Garden !
We need help observing and identifying damage done to our roses by rose midge insects. Volunteers will watch for signs and symptoms of the insects, and will collect samples to evaluate for the life stages and generation peaks of rose midges.
We're looking for volunteers with excellent observational skills, and some knowledge of rose pruning techniques. Training will be provided.
