Assist with creating an interactive environment that helps members of the community to better understand what people with dementia experience on a daily basis. The Virtual Dementia program is intended to sensitize those caring for elders to issues of dementia and some of the physical symptoms and limitations associated with the disease. The program simulates a situation that provides participants with a first-hand experience of what it might feel like to live with altered physical and sensory abilities.
- Conduct pre and post interviews
- Set up and manage the interactive environment
- Engage participants and discuss Alzheimer's disease and dementia
