Volunteers are needed to assist with surveying the San Diego River Park Foundation’s newest property acquisition- the 75 acre Temescal Creek Gateway. This property is of critical importance as it holds the start of Temescal Creek and together with the 299 Eagle Peak Ranch acquisition protects the Temescal Creek drainage, a significant headwaters tributary to the San Diego River. Help us explore the property, look for boundary markers and survey for native grasses, wildflowers, insects and more using iNaturalist.
No experience is necessary.Community service can be verified. The views and open space are not to be missed! Carpooling opportunities available.
