Eco-Cycle is excited to team up with the Lafayette Chamber to go for Zero Waste at the 18th Annual Lafayette Peach Festival on August 19th from 9am till 4pm (Rain or Shine)!
Volunteering at a Zero Waste Event is fun and easy. You'll work as a Zero Waste Station "Goalie," making sure event-goers put their waste in the right place. You'll also help out with setting up or breaking down zero waste stations. This is a great opportunity to educate the public about Zero Waste, while attending a fun event! Volunteers will be asked to commit to at least one 2.5-hour shift. Longer shifts are always optional!
There are three shifts available: 9:00-11:30, 11:30-2: 00pm, 2:00-4: 30pm* (the last shift includes the all-important clean up!).
As a volunteer, you'll receive a $5 food voucher and FREE peach smoothie for every 2.5 hour shift you work!
