Volunteer Mentors serve as a friend and role model, making a difference in a young person's self-esteem, social skills, and decsion making skills. Mentoring is effective in helping vulnerable youth to work through life's obsstacles, avoid pitfalls, and fulfill their potential. Mentored youth are more likely to avouid sself-destructive activities and find hope and a vision for their future. Make a differnce in someone's life.
