Free Fix L.A. is looking for volunteers!
Can’t stop talking about the benefits of trap-neuter-return? Love meeting new people? Perfect! Free Fix L.A. is looking for block-walking volunteers to distribute flyers in areas with high community cat and kitten populations.
In this volunteer position, you’ll help spread the word about Free Fix L.A.'s lifesaving efforts by distributing flyers, postcards and door hangers, as well as speaking to residents and businesses in the eastern San Fernando Valley.
Free Fix L.A. is one of Best Friends Animal Society’s cat initiatives. The program focuses on the trap-neuter-return (TNR) of community cats in the San Fernando Valley. Free Fix L.A. humanely and effectively reduces the number of cats living on our streets.
If you are interested in this position, please contact the volunteer department at Best Friends Animal Society at firstname.lastname@example.org.
As a part of your training, we’ll send you out trapping with a staff member to make sure you feel confident talking to people about the benefits of TNR. This can only be done on weeknights. Once you are fully trained, you’ll be able to do your volunteer work whenever best fits into your schedule.
Thank you! Together, we can Save Them All(r).
