Autism Fun Bay Area sponsors easygoing, free and fun short hikes throughout the Bay Area. We appreciate having volunteers onhand to help keep on eye on the special needs kids. Parents are present so the volunteers are essentially a second set of eyes and all-around helpers.
July 15, 10 am-1pm, HalfMoonBay Coastal Trail Walk (meet at Poplar Beach parking lot)
What: An easy stroll (4 miles roundtrip) along the lovely Coastal Trail in Half Moon Bay. We'll meet at the Poplar Beach parking lot, walk north on the flat and easy Coastal Trail, walk back.
To get there: From Highway 1 at the signal at Poplar, turn west toward the beach. Take Poplar all the way to the end, and the lot is on your left. Bring a handicap placard or pay at the machine. We will meet at the bench at the north end of the lot.
Bring: Dogs, scooters, bikes. Wear layers, a hat, sunscreen. Bring water and snacks.
Volunteers simply help keep on eye on the disabled kids.
THANKS!
