Community based Girl Scout Trainers help train the New Girl Scout Volunteer Leaders in the basics of troop formation, conducting troop meetings and running a Girl Scout Troop of 12-15 girls of a specific grade level.
Trainers must be able to comprehend and present Girl Scout related training materials to a diverse audience to prepare them for their volunteer position. Trainers must be able to conven important of adherance of policies and standards so that girl safety is paramount.
We are looking for energetic individual who believes in the Girl Scout Promise and Law and who want to empower the next generation of girls and their troop leaders.
Trainers must complete a Girl Scout Training course, background check and be a member of the Girl Scouts of the USA (Annual membership $15).
We offer training courses throughout the year and request that our trainers facilitate at least 4 training throughout the year. Course offering range from 1.5 - 2 hours in duration.
