The Wyoming Senior Center is one of four Meals on Wheels run community dining sites where low-income seniors enjoy a hot lunch in a cafeteria-like setting Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon. This opportunity is great for those who enjoy socializing and interacting with seniors. Volunteer repsonsibilities may include socializing with diners, helping prepare meals, setting up for lunch service, helping clients sign in, and cleaning up after lunch is served. This opportunity is availabe between the hours of 10:30 am 1pm.

The Meals on Wheels Western Michigan mission is to provide quality nutrition services in a supportive environment to promote the health and independence of older adults. To make this a reality, we provide a wide range of meal and nutrition services to seniors in Kent and Allegan Counties.
Description
Meals on Wheels Western Michigan (formerly Senior Meals on Wheels Program) is a non-profit serving those 60 years of age and older in Kent and Allegan County, Michigan. We offer three branches of service at no cost to local seniors: home-delivered meals, community dining sites, and a low-income, you-pick, food pantry. 1 in 3 senior clients at Meals on Wheels Western Michigan say that our delivery drivers are the only person they see each week. Meals on Wheels Western Michigan is committed to doing all we can to serve those in need and volunteers like you are essential in doing so!
