Welcome to ReServe Mid-Atlantic: Helping continuing professionals age 55+ reinvest a career's worth of skills to strengthen their communities.
ReServe connects local nonprofits and public institutions (Partners) to experienced professionals 55+ (ReServists) who want to give back. ReServists bring experience in areas such as finance, marketing, project management, health care, communications, HR, journalism, administrative support, education, and social work. They leverage these skills to support local organizations address key community challenges related to issues like education, health care, elder care and dementia, and poverty. ReServists typically work 10-20 hours a week in exchange for a small stipend.

ReServe is an innovative nonprofit that matches continuing professionals age 55+ (ReServists) with organizations that need their expertise. Nonprofits and public agencies (Partners) can tap into a lifetime of experience to fill crucial staffing gaps at affordable rates. ReServists can do great things for their communities while they put their professional expertise to work on part-time service projects, in exchange for a modest hourly stipend.
Description
ReServists provide direct services, administrative support, and capacity-building expertise in schools, social service agencies, cultural institutions, and public agencies. Many use their experience with ReServe to launch new careers in the nonprofit sector.
ReServe is supported by private and public grants and individual donations. The ReServist stipend is paid by the employers, who also pay a small program fee.
ReServe(r) is a subsidiary of Fedcap(r).
