Volunteer Gardeners spend their hours working directly with the Director of Horticulture, helping to weed, fertilize, prune, and care for the plants in the Botanical Garden at Museum Hill. Gardening happens weekly on specific Garden Work Days and General Volunteer Orientation and Orientation for Volunteer Gardeners is required before beginning this volunteer experience. Description
The Santa Fe Botanical Garden at Museum Hill is open to the public and offers events and education programs for all ages. Volunteers are the heart of the organization, and are involved in every aspect of the Garden; including helping with school and public programming, gardening, helping with special events and even leading tours as a Volunteer Docent. Various volunteering opportunities require training before beginning the experience. Volunteers can work on a weekly, monthly, or as-needed basis. New volunteers and members are always welcome!
