Do you want a cause to get excited about? Are you looking to go out and help network on behalf of an organization that helps children and families?
Comprehensive Child Development provides nutritious meals to over 7,000 children a day and serves 400 low-income children and their families each day. Help provide high-quality care and education to young children while providing families with resources to help them stabilize their lives and break the cycle of poverty.
This committee meets monthly and has many events that will help bring in new supporters of CCD. We are looking for excited and ambitious volunteers that would like to help us get our organization in front of more people and help increase event participants and supports.

Mission Statement
Comprehensive Child Development (Comprehensive) opened one location in 1984 serving just a handful of young children in a rented church fellowship hall. Thirty-one years later, Comprehensive is a well-respected 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with five direct-service Child Development Centers and a network of 20 Licensed Family Child Care Homes. Comprehensive has also grown to become a Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) sponsor agency and provides nutritious meals to close to 8,000 children through our network of 700 Licensed Family Child Care Homes. Comprehensive’s mission is to empower children and their families by providing a strong foundation through early care and education. Our vision is that all families we serve become equipped to lead successful lives and achieve economic security.
Description
Comprehensive has built the organization to be 100% focused on the whole child. We have done this through our three pillars of (1) Early Care and Education (serving 400 children daily), (2) Nutritious Meals (serving 8,000 children daily), and (3) Family Services (serving all children and families enrolled in our Early Care and Education Programs). We feel that by ensuring children are fed, educated, and their families are given the guidance and resources to improve their lives through community resources and parenting education, we have set both the child and family up for long-time success.
