Do you want to help children experiencing homelessness get active? Emma Norton Services provides transformational housing and supportive services to homeless women and children. As a volunteer yoga instructor for our organization, you would help these kids experience physical activity that is not only fun but also helps improve their mood, minimize stress, and improve overall well-being.
Time Commitment: We will work around your schedule! If you can come in weekly or monthly that would be great, but if you only have time for one session that’s okay too!
Requirements: Experience as a yoga instructor and experience working with kids of diverse ages and backgrounds.

Mission Statement
The mission of Emma Norton Services is transformational housing for women and families on their journey of recovery.
Description
Emma Norton Services partners with women, children and families who are homeless and experiencing the challenges of mental and/or chemical disabilities. Without having to worry about the basic need of a safe, secure place to live, women and children can utilize and focus on supportive programs, life skills, services and opportunities available to accomplish their goals. We operate two site-based facilities in the Twin Cities, Emma Norton Residence and Emma's Place, as well as a supportive housing program in the community through our Scattered Site program.
Emma Norton Residence is a housing program in downtown St. Paul serving 50 adult women at any given time. Emma's Place in Maplewood offers permanent, supportive and affordable housing for 13 families with three or more children. After-school and children's programming includes educational, recreational, and motivational activities. Our new Scattered Site program partners with small landlords to support women and families secure housing and thrive in the community.
