Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower youth in their journey to becoming great leaders and positive role models by reconnecting them to their families, schools and their community. This is done through our various programs that work with the parent(s) and teens individually as well as holistically as a family.
Description
A non-profit counseling program to assist "at-risk" to "high-risk" youth ages 12 to 18 years who are referred both by the Alameda County Juvenile Justice System and various schools throughout Oakland, CA. Through family group counseling sessions, workshops, parenting classes and youth activities, the organization works to reconnect youth to their families, schools and communities. We are unique in that we counsel the teen and the parent individually, in addition to the family as a whole, so that we are better able to personalize our services to each family.
