Your primary responsibilities will include:

Maintaining Budget Google Spreadsheet with Event Profit/Losses
Keeping track and filing receipts and invoices
Issuing reimbursements
Creating and emailing invoices
Issuing tax deductible donation receipts

You will also be exposed to other managerial tasks such as:

Record Keeping In Quickbooks
Submitting Quarterly P/L`s
Submitting Annual P/L`s
1099 Payments to Contract Workers
Monthly Accounts Reconciliation
Paying Monthly Payroll Tax Payments
Submitting Quarterly Tax Forms
Issuing end of year 1099`s and W-2s
Electronic and Physical Filing of documents and receipts
Creating Budget Projections for Events

Requirements:

Past Quickbooks experience required.
Quick turnover on assignments is required!

There are many assignments that are fast-paced, and you will gain great experience working on a live working budget! You'll need to:

Respond to texts within 1 hour and emails in 4 hours during normal business hours
3-day turn-over for all general tasks (excluding payroll)
Reliable access to a PC
Minimum of 10-15 hours of weekly time commitment
Length of internship is negotiable
The option of working remotely or in the office

This position involves working closely with the director of Sprouts as well as Sprouts' nonprofit accounting team of specialists. This position will offer the inimitable experience of accounting for a small nonprofit and serving the community with your contribution to Sprouts! It will also offer you the opportunity to develop your own skill set and your career!
