Marketing/Communications:
- Assist with updating and maintaining information on the organization's website.
- Assist with writing posts and growing the organization’s presence on social media sites including: Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, UHC Blog, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+.
- Assist in the development of marketing and information materials such as flyers, brochures and a quarterly newsletter.
Development/Fundraising:
- Assist with researching new grant opportunities and helping to prepare grant applications.
- Provide support in fundraising and resource development including special events planning, securing in kind gifts and materials for Restore-A-Home projects and volunteer recruitment.
- Assist with the development and monitoring of crowdfunding campaigns.

Description
Established in 1997, the Upstate Homeless Coalition, now United Housing Connections, was established to address the needs of homelessness and the need for affordable, clean, safe housing for low-income families and individuals. The mission of "Connecting People & Housing Solutions to Eliminate Homelessness" reflects the multi-faceted objectives in the various programs. Expanding services to cover 14 counties of South Carolina, UHC provides permanent housing for those with disabilities, the elderly, and HIV/AIDS diagnosed. We provide transitional housing for those coming out homeless or crisis situation. We are the lead agency for the continuum of care, coordinating with other agencies caring for the homeless. Within the continuum, we are the lead agency providing HMIS services. Last year we assisted over 400 adults and children with these services.
