Do you have experience planning fundraisers and events that you would like to put to good use? Are you interested in working with an organization that helps bright, motivated high school students from underserved families achieve their dream of a college education?

Minds Matter of Los Angeles is looking for a Director of Events. This role will "own" our Spring Benefit and graduation ceremony. Ideally you have event planning experience and know how to build a team, hold others accountable and can motivate to ensure event success. This role would interface with our program heads and team leads on the Spring Benefit silent auction, building excitement for the fundraising event and working with the senior team on graduation. Interested persons should be able to commit on average 1 to 2 hours per week, with a few more closer to the event dates.
