Join us at The Actors Theatre Workshop, an award-winning theater and community center with a 25+ year history of helping people from all walks of life develop their potential through creative training. We are seeking an advertising or marketing professional with copywriting experience to promote the diverse programs, classes, and productions we offer at ATW. Immediate projects include working with our Video Team on inspiring new short promotional films to attract donations and a diverse pool of volunteers for our award-winning Builders of the New World theater and education program for homeless children. We also have several important marketing campaigns we wish to launch, to promote our studio rental business, New Play Series, and theatre conservatory. Description
Founded over two decades ago, the Actors Theatre Workshop is an established pioneer in non-profit theatre that produces classical and contemporary plays, develops new dramatic works, trains and develops actors, directors and writers while making a difference in the lives of at-risk youth and the community at large. Thurman E. Scott, ATW's artistic director, Executive Producer and Founder, is a widely acknowledged expert of artistic project development, an innovator of award-winning arts curriculums and programs for proffessional artistic training, and has a long and successful history of public service to culturaly under-served communities.
