Mission Statement

The mission of Jewish Family Service is to strengthen individuals, families, and communities through counseling, care management, support services, and education. Jewish Family Service serves individuals of all spiritual preferences and income levels.

Description

Jewish Family Service is a private non-profit organization which provides social support services for individuals, couples, and families of all denominations. We offer all services based on a sliding-fee scale, and never turn anyone away.

We have a strong Care Management program, which uses mental health centered care management practices to coordinate and provide resources to help older adults age independently within the home, or transition to higher levels of care with minimal difficulty.

Volunteers are most often utilized throught the care management program, in which volunteers provide social interaction through friendly visiting, assist clients with errands such as grocery shopping, and provide transportation to medical appointments.

Jewish Family Service employs licensed clinicians for comprehensive counseling and support services.
