Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is excited to Help Save Lives in the Peoria area. As of March 1, 2019, MVRBC is the sole supplier of blood products to OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria and other hospitals in the Peoria area. We also invested in your community by opening a Distribution Center (March 2019). We have started mobile operations and hired more Peoria residents. In the fall of 2020 we invested again and opened a donor center in Peoria. We need to collect whole blood and platelets in Peoria to help ensure a strong blood supply for the patients we serve.
Mobile Pickup Drivers: Volunteer drivers are needed to pickup blood at various mobile blood drives in the Peoria area and transport it to our Davenport, Iowa lab for testing and distribution back to our service hospitals. Flexible days and times. Mileage is reimbursed. Orientation and Training held in Davenport, IA.
Additionally, we are looking for a Volunteer Driver to sub or assist w/delivery runs on Thursday or Friday. Delivery drivers can complete Orientation in Peoria and drive a blood center van.
Driver Shirt provided for Volunteer. MASKS REQUIRED FOR ALL.

The Blood Center is a volunteer-based organization that involves volunteer blood donors, a voluntary board of trustees, and community volunteers. Volunteers provide a much needed and valued service to our donors, patients and staff. We serve over 115 hospitals in 4 states and utilize volunteers from many areas to assist in our operations. Headquarters for the organization, as well as component processing, is located in Davenport, Iowa.
