Love Dogs and Cleaning? Help a Couple Affected by ALS

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: The ALS Association: MN/ND/SD

  • 1 person is interested

A 54 year old man living with ALS and his wife are looking for a volunteer to help them out. Their family includes a 17 year old Yorkie, a 10 year old Boston terrier mix, and a 7 year old Chihuahua who love to be walked and occasionally bathed. Besides helping with their dogs, the couple would like a volunteer to help clean their home and also keep the gentleman company while his wife sleeps; she works nights.

They estimate this will take a volunteer about three hours a week. If you’re interested in this opportunity but have a limited amount of time to share, this opportunity can be split between two volunteers who alternate weeks.

This opportunity is part of our family assistance program. Find out why this program rocks and how you can be a part of it by visiting our website [tinyurl.com/ALS-FAP].
