Volunteer will assist staff in tending to client needs.
Assist clients to enable them to participate in activities and in various programs, i.e., entertainment, pet therapy, holistic programs, educational seminars and art therapy.
Assist Activity Director in preparation and organization of scheduled activities.
Assist clients with their lunches as needed.
Be friendly and willing to listen and/or talk to clients and help them to be comfortable to make their stay at the Adult Day Health Care a pleasant experience.
Experience working with impaired elderly would be helpful. Must be patient, courteous, and have good listening skills. Most helpful hours to work in the Adult Day Care would be 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Center offers the following services and resources: Care management, In Home Services, Early Memory Loss program, Active Senior Programming, Extensive wellness and preventative care programming, Adult Day Care for Alzheimer and Dementia clients, No-Cost Senior Dining, Home Delivered Meals, Volen Community Coach Program including 24 wheel-chair vehicles, Caregiver Support Groups, Information and referral services connecting seniors and caregivers with a wide range of community resources and Hurricane Preparedness and Post storm Education, Spanish-Language Adult Day Care program.
