The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. As this natural disaster unfolds, the staff here at VolunteerMatch is doing its part to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you are prepared and safe. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know about the most effective ways to contribute.
Volunteers enjoy lots of activities with the kids and create memories that last a lifetime
Volunteers are needed all year round at Misi?n M?xico and people from all over the world come to donate their time to us.
We consider a volunteer to be a 'friend with authority’ here at Misi?n M?xico. The children need love and fun but also guidance and discipline.
Every volunteer has some talent that they can share. You don’t need to be an engineer or a certified child psychologist. A genuine love for children and an enthusiasm to work is a basic requirement.
Volunteering at Misi?n M?xico is not a holiday but a busy work time; however it is incredibly rewarding and you will walk away from the place with the satisfaction that you have made a difference in the lives of the children.
Volunteers are required to undergo a police check prior to volunteering with us.
A minimum commitment of six weeks is required. Volunteers are responsible for organising their own travel, insurance and travel visas. Please visit www.lovelifehope.com/volunteer for more information about us and email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in this once in a lifetime opportunity.
"I will be forever grateful to Alan, Pam and the children’s hospitality and for the honorable opportunity to serve them. I am definitely returning to Mision Mexico because each child now holds a special place in my heart. There is no way you cannot get attached to such strong, courageous children!" Diana, volunteer from the USA
