Maximum Accessible Housing of Ohio (MAHO) is seeking energetic, task-oriented people to fulfill the role of clerical volunteer. MAHO’s mission is to provide and promote accessible housing solutions for people with physical mobility disabilities. The mission is fulfilled through our Vistas Apartment Communities, home to more than 150 people affected by disabilities, and the Anderson Center for Accessible Living, which provides education and outreach. Volunteers will assist with daily tasks related to our programs including answering the phone, filing, and organizing. A detailed position description is available. Volunteer hours are flexible, MAHO can sign for service hours, and volunteers will get the chance to be a part of a fun office environment. Description
Maximum Accessible Housing of Ohio (MAHO) provides and promotes accessible housing solutions for people with physical mobility disabilities. We have two programs, the Vistas Apartment Communities and the Anderson Center for Accessible Living. The Vistas Apartment Communities provide safe, accessible, and affordable housing to over 150 people impacted by physical disabilities. These five properties are located in Cuyahoga, Lake, and Lorain County. The Anderson Center for Accessible Living provides vital training and education for people in need. Seminars, trainings, and hands-on Demonstration Unit tours are available for a variety of audiences including people with disabilities, seniors, social service professionals, and other housing professionals.
