The Soldiers Project is seeking licensed and insured mental health professionals to join our telemental health team! Our Healing the Hidden Wounds of War program provides free therapy to Post 9/11 Veterans and their loved ones, regardless of discharge status or deployment. Our telemental health volunteers provide virtual, direct services from their private offices to clients in rural areas where therapists are few and far between. Volunteers with our program receive trainings in military culture and common issues faced by veterans such as PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injuries. Our volunteers also have access to additional resources such as our online webinar program, free CEUs, and peer consultation groups.
Interested volunteers are encouraged to fill out our online application at https://www.thesoldiersproject.org/volunteer.
