The Downtown Northville Independence Day Parade is one of the largest in southwest Michigan. The parade is attended by 20000+ spectators and includes over 100 entries. Are you good at organizing? Come help orchestrate the Northville Parade. Join the committee, bring your ideas, be a part of the community. Or participate the day of the parade, help with line up, or carry a banner. Mission Statement
The Northville Community Foundation exists for the purpose of enhancing and enriching life in the community.
Description
The NCF administers nine investment funds that are designated for a variety of community needs. Interest earned each year is used to award grants to nonprofit organizations and programs that meet these community needs.
THE NCF ALSO-
> Awards scholarships to high school seniors & post-graduate students
> Provides holiday gift bags to senior citizens living in assisted living facilities
> Coordinates the Northville Independence Day Parade
> Coordinates a Holiday Home Tour fundraiser each November
> Operates Maybury Farm
MAYBURY FARM-
> Goal is to provide educational opportunities for children to engage with animals and agriculture
> Free admission for kids two and under
> Offers educational tours for schools, scouting troops, and various groups throughout SE Michigan
> Open to the public April-October
> Offers Summer Day Camp for kids 5-12 years old
> Story Time for Kids throughout the summer included with admission
> Fall Corn Maze fundraiser for the winter months
> Santa Visits in December
