About us:
Zenzele Consignment is a consignment and retail store that fundraises for the non-profit organization AAPDEP (All African People’s Development & Empowerment Project). This builds do-it-yourself agriculture, health care, and educational programs in Africa and African communities around the world.

What We Need From You:
Must be able to work in Huntsville, AL or the surrounding area
Able to work closely with a diverse group of volunteers
Must be able to commit at least 4-10 hours a month
Must consistently show up at committed times
Excellent communication skills

Your Actual Job Description:
Field Outreach Intern- This position will involve a moderate amount of physical activity (walking around). In short, you will give out promotional material throughout the community.

Core Responsibilities:
Distribution of promotional flyers at community events
Putting up posters
Distributing promotional door hangers throughout the community
Distributing promotional club cards for the store throughout the community

Volunteer Training:
Training includes meeting by phone and in person to provide an overview of the goals and objectives of Zenzele Consignment. Training on various outreach methods will also be provided.
