The Midland County Emergency Food Pantry Network (EFPN) sponsors mobile pantries once a month in various locations around Midland County. These mobile pantries typically help at least 250 families. We are looking for someone to be a co-coordinator for these events. Tasks may include picking up items and bringing them to the event location, helping volunteers find a task for the day of the event, helping with set-up to determine where the various food stations should be located at the event site and overseeing the event so things run smoothly. The mobiles are typically held on Wednesdays or Thrusdays and the volunteer is needed from around 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
