If you love cats and want to save lives, this volunteer opportunity may be for you! We're looking for a well-organized individual who loves cats and kittens to help our fosters in the Denver area. ARR pulls cats and kittens from high-kill shelters and also rescues them from street communities during TNR events. We place them in foster homes where they receive all the vet care they need, socialization, and lots of love while waiting for adoption. Our foster homes are truly their lifeline to give them the second chance they need.
As the Denver Cat Foster Coordinator, you will be helping fosters by coordinating the transport of cats and kittens to foster homes, setting up home visits with other ARR volunteers, setting up veterinary appointments for foster kitties, and coordinating adoptions.
You'll also be working with our Northern Colorado Foster and Adoption Coordinator and our Cat Casita Manager to coordinate any transfers of cats or kittens from one area to another.
This position requires availability during the day, evenings, and weekends to send and answer emails, phone calls, and texts. If you work from home, have a flexible schedule, or don't work at all, this could be a good fit for you!
We'll work with your schedule.
