Volunteers needed for a Cafe Pride!
Are you looking for a monthly volunteer opportunity to bring smiles to seniors?
Volunteer for Cafe Pride, a monthly supper club for older LGBT people of color and their friends!
This meal site brings a hot meal and a socialization to seniors every month. We need your help to keep this Cafe going! Come socialize and help serve nutritious meals for seniors!
Location: Harriet Tubman House at United End Settlements (USES) - 566 Columbus Avenue, Boston.
Key Responsibilities:
1) welcome seniors to the Cafe and socialize2) clean and prepare the tables with table sets, flyers, and surveys
3) serve food and drinks
4) help with clean up
Time Commitment:
Volunteers are needed the second Wednesdays of the month, 4:00pm-7:00pm,.
**Volunteers MUST have a one-time orientation and CORI background check before they can begin volunteering

Ethos is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1973 (as Southwest Boston Senior Services) for the purpose of serving the elderly and handicapped of Roslindale, West Roxbury, southern Jamaica Plain, Hyde Park and western Mattapan. The agency provides approximately 4,000 people per year with services such as: case management, protective services, homemaker/personal care, transportation, congregate and home delivered meals and volunteer opportunities.
