Support a Veteran
We donate PCs to veterans and provide them tech training & jobs in Central VA. We need your used laptops, desktops, and corporate computers too.

NO experience needed Days or evenings Wide variety of activities such as:
- Working on computers (training provided) - Giving out information at events - Organizing schedules and hospitality for corporate volunteer days - Interviewing veterans who benefitted from our computer donations - Making videos - Social media updates - Event photography and much more.

Mission Statement

Tech For Troops Project provides free refurbished computers to veterans, enabling them to connect with employers and develop essential computer skills. We hire veterans and provide technical training,keep usable computers out of the landfill, and recycle electronics in an environmentally sustainable way.

Description

Tech For Troops Project(r) provides veterans in-need with free computers, and in house hands-on essential computer training to help them start new careers in IT. We only hire veterans, help them to connect with employers, keep usable computers out of the landfill, and recycle electronics in an environmentally sustainable way. Companies ranging from Fortune 500s to small local businesses make this possible by donations of funds, computers, needed infrastructure, and volunteers. As a result, we have been able to provide computer access to over 3,000 veterans, receive over 5000 computers and recycle 52 tons of e-waste in three years. With your support we can expand our impact dramatically.
