About

The communications manager will be in charge of maintaining the public face of the organisation, from social media accounts, website, google Ads to appearance in print, radio and broadcasting platforms. The manager will work in a lean team and with all of the organisation’s programmes, collaborating with various programme managers to ensure that each social cause is well publicised and the latest information is available to the public.

PR

  • Media Monitoring and tracking
  • Media Coverage reporting
  • Liaise with various media for event, interview and article coverage. This includes PR work pre and post event
  • Assist with developing and distributing approved press documents
  • In charge media relations, including pitching, researching and scheduling interviews
  • Liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations
  • Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies
  • Preparing annual report
  • Prepare weekly photos updates to be sent to the donors

Digital Marketing

Manage and execute digital campaigns

  • Plan suitable digital campaigns for the various programmes
  • Prepare digital campaign/project proposals
  • Help develop and implement projects
  • Strategize to reach out to targeted audience
  • Assist in specific PPC/SEO/SEM where required
  • Regularly monitor and document results
  • In charge of the organisations Google Ads

Social Media Management

  • Manage the organisation’s social media accounts
  • Plan and implement social media campaigns

Recruitment

  • Work alongside the HR department to distribute and promote open job & volunteer opportunities on various online recruitment platforms
  • Create Google Ads for job & volunteer opportunities
  • Design and implement recruitment campaigns

Events

  • Work with the entire department in the planning and organising internal and external events including launches, press conferences, exhibitions
  • To provide support in the planning, organising and execution of event for any and all departments or programs events Including pre and post-event

Programme media monitoring

  • Monitor and maintain the weekly media submissions of the different programmes
