Job Overview
The Volunteer Teacher is an assistant to the Community Centre Manager (CCM) while teaching in our nationwide Community Centre programme. The Community Centres bring English, IT and Motivation classes to underprivileged communities nationwide. Be placed in our urban, rural or island communities and make a positive impact!
Locations available: Cameron Highland, Tawau, Kuala Lumpur, Tioman, Redang, Pekan
What will I do?
Teaching (60%):
Assisting in teaching;
Classroom management.
Administration (40%):
Administration and reporting
Community engagement
Centre Management
Education
Social Empowerment
What do I need?
Commit to a 1month training + a minimum of 3months placement (or 6,9,12 months)
High Proficiency in English
No formal training or teacher’s certificate required.
The training will start on the 14 th of May
What do I get?
Visa (for a minimum of 6months)
During training:
-classroom training: Food +Basic accommodation
-Job shadowing: Basic accommodation
During placement: Accommodation, Allowance
