Go for it

ASSE, a non-profit international student exchange sponsor organization is seeking host families for the upcoming school semester .

So, what does it take to be a host family?

o Host family are volunteers who provide a bed for the student-they may share a room with a sibling within 4 years of age.

o Host families provide 3 meals a day, students eat with the family - food for a brown bag school lunch - if the student wants to buy lunch at school or any other special foods that is out of their own money.

o Host Families ensures the student has transportation to and from school which can be a school bus.

o The students are expected to follow all the normal family rules, and do a share of the chores like you would expect from your own children.

o Students have their own spending money which they receive from their natural parents. This covers items such as toiletries, movies, clothes, school supplies, purchasing school lunches, etc.

o Students come with their own insurance.
