CORE Presents Dance from Israel

Parking:

FREE PARKING Free parking is available at the large central parking lot in front of the Houston Zoo, near Miller Outdoor Theatre, and at the McGovern Centennial Gardens. Free parking is also available at the golf course clubhouse located at the corner of Almeda and MacGregor and at the Bayou Parkland Pavilion. A for-pay parking garage is available at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Please note, Parking Lot C, previously accessible off Hermann Park Drive across from Miller Outdoor Theatre, has been replaced with a new lot located off Hermann Drive with entrances at Crawford and Jackson Streets. The new lot has extensive landscaping to help keep the lot cooler, pedestrian access to Miller Outdoor Theatre, and more spots than the old lot! More info and a downloadable map can be found here. On weekends, visitors may park in the Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza Garage at the corner of Cambridge and Fannin across from the Park for a flat rate of $6 per day (subject to change by Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza Garage).

HANDICAPPED PARKING
The Miller Outdoor Theatre has a drop-off lane for handicapped patrons on Hermann Park Drive across the McGovern Centennial Gardens.

Limited handicapped parking is available on the Miller lot behind the theatre.

Founded in 1980, Core Dance is home to the internationally acclaimed Core Performance Company, known for its innovative, passionate, captivating dance works.

Delving deeply into the arts and the many cultures of the world, Core Dance unearths and presents unique and compelling dance experiences. Guided by a strong sense of community responsibility, Core Dance uses dance to educate, to question, to connect, to heal, and to inspire.

Formerly known as Several Dancers Core, Core Dance was founded and is led by artistic director Sue Schroeder, a choreographer and arts leader with more than 30 years of experience in dance. The organization is dual-homed, with operations in both Houston and Atlanta.
