Can you examine resources and evaluate project performance? We need someone able to cope with challenges and make decisions, We need a business developer to implement a logical timeline as we grow. Can you maximize the impact of our projects by weighing costs and possible reach? We need to track change, analyze data and assess outcomes accordingly. We need someone who is mindful of our organizational mission and the people "behind the scenes," all while achieving measurable objectives
The ideal candidate has strong proposal and contract-drafting skills, The prospective volunteer must be able to track down new leads and communicate with present sponsors. He or she must be knowledgeable about nonprofits and about current philanthropic trends, The volunteer must be motivated, collaborate with and motivate others.
Qualifications include :
BSBA or MBA with a proven record of experience in sales, marketing and management.
Strong research, analytical and math skills.
Human resource experience.
Excellent I.T. skills.
Excellent written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills.
Must possess a team mentality and a passion for success.

Description
The War Horse is a non-profit investigative journalism outlet and member of The Institute for Non-Profit News. Our areas of coverage include the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. In addition, we will also profile all men, women, and military working dogs killed since 9/11.
Journalism is about documenting the human experience. It is the act of listening, observing, recording, and publishing stories about people-and doing so fairly and accurately. The War Horse will be home to the most in-depth documentation of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Stories from individuals who were on the ground, the Generals who led them, and the friends and family who support them from home will provide context for thinking about these wars and the wars that haven't yet been waged.
