We are seeking volunteers to provide companionship to individuals who are lonely, sometimes with out any family or friends to come and visit them. If you have the time to provide companionship to someone who just wants to see you and talk for a while. Maybe listen to music togher or color. Perhaps you can go on a stroll or sit outside on a sunny day. Maybe fill out a memory book that we will turn into a a great keepsake for your new friend.
Volunteers like you make all the difference in the world to someone who may be isolated and lonely. Sharing your time to just read the newspaper or chat with the patient is such a blessing.
Please consider becaoming a Harbor Ligth Hospice volunteer. We will provide all the training and always be here for you with any questions. Your time is so valuable to us.
If you would rather support Harbor Light Hospice by donating time in an office setting, that would be most welcome as well. We always need clerical help with filing, sorting, mailings, etc.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
