MADD engages in public outreach activities to heighten awareness of the problem of drinking and drugged driving.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving offers an array of internship opportunities. Interns are given the opportunity to start and finish their own projects. They work closely with staff and may choose to participate in any of the areas below:
Fundraising and Special Events
Receive hands-on, direct and extensive experience in the development, planning, implementation and execution of events for a well-known non-profit organization. This unpaid internship will provide you with the knowledge and experience necessary for any vocation involving event coordination, fund raising, development, marketing, and/or program management. Though unpaid, the benefits of this internship go far beyond the direct experience you will gain, the priceless experience of making a difference in your community is both inter-personally and professional powerful and valuable.
