Victim Services Crisis Volunteer Training

Volunteer victim advocates needed! The Victim Services Division of the Pima County Attorney’s Office, will be recruiting volunteers to attend a six-week crisis intervention training starting Spring 2019.
Volunteer victim advocates respond to crime scenes to support victims of crime of support victims through the criminal justice system. This training is well-structured, comprehensive and hands-on. It teaches basic crisis intervention skills, concepts and techniques, while examining various types of crimes and victimization dynamics, including common trauma reactions. Many of our volunteers go on to work in fields like law enforcement, social work, mental health services, and victim advocacy.
