The Strategic Planning Assistant will be responsible for assisting administration staff in defining strategy, planning, and making decisions for allocation of resources. Duties will include participation in meetings, developing plans and procedures, creation of documents, budget preparation, and execution of developed strategies. This may include some work on Community Health Improvement or other projects as assigned.
Strong understanding of strategic planning concepts and application. Prior experience in a strategic planning role strongly desired. This position may by a good fit for students currently studying strategic planning at university level. This position is probably best suited for a retired strategic planning professional or current strategic planning professional looking to broaden their portfolio or simply use their skills to help this community.
Volunteers must complete FDOH required trainings including IT security training and HIPAA if necessary. Background check is required. Training on some position duties may be available as needed. College credit can be given for participation in volunteer activities as needed.
