Fall Fieldwork Showcase: The Culminating Performance of Fieldwork Atlanta Fall 2017
Sunday, December 3rd, 4pm to 8pm
Location:
Emory University’s Dance Studio at the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts.
Parking:
Fishburne Parking Deck, Emory University
The Fieldwork Showcase is the culminating presentation of new work that was created and developed in Core Dance’s Fieldwork program - an experiential process where artists receive critical feedback on their work.
Decatur-based Core Dance is looking for volunteers to help with set-up and break down of our Fall Fieldwork Showcase event from 4pm to 8pm on Sunday, December 3rd.
Join us for the Fieldwork Showcase - receive inspiration and connect with artists as they share new work developed through Fieldwork, Core Dance’s partnership with Emory University’s Department of Theater and Dance and The Field (NYC). The Fieldwork method allows artists to develop new works with the support and feedback of artistic peers providing detailed information which helps the artists hone their vision for the work.
To sign up, contact Nia Schooler at resources@coredance.org or 404-373-4154, ext. 8
