We have a strong need for cat savvy people that arent afraid of cats, getting their hands dirty to keep the center clean and comfortable speaking to visitors and promoting the animals for adoption.
If you are reliable, responsible and commit to a few hours a week. stop in Fridays between 7-9p, ask for Mike.

To rescue/rehabilitate and find homes for abused and abandoned animals in New York City.
Description
Mighty Mutts is a private, wholly volunteer, no-kill animal rescue organization. Since 1995 we have rescued and found homes for over a thousand animals. All animals are immediately spayed/neutered, vaccinated and blood tested upon rescue. All homes are thoroughly screened including an IN HOME interview prior to adoption. We also conduct a nightly feeding route of over a hundred stops which helps the strays survive until we can rescue them. We subsist solely on private donations.
