The Affordable Housing Group currently has openings on our Board of Directors. The Board meets 4 times a year (generally on the first Friday of March, June, September and December). There also periodic conference calls and committees that meet more frequently. Board terms are for 3 years.

Description
Our organization was established in 1966 to address the quality and availability of affordable housing in North Carolina. For 50 years we have provided technical assistance to other non-profits and local governments to help them implement affordable housing programs in thier communitites. We are also a housing developer and have developed thousands of affordable rental units in North Carolina and maintain a current portfolio of almost 1,000 affordable high quality apartments across the state.
