The Chicagoland Chapter of Autism Speaks is hosting our first-ever casino event, Chip In for Autism. The event will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Eurofurniture in Chicago, and will include casino gaming, dinner, celebrity appearances and a silent auction. Volunteers are needed to serve on the silent auction committee to assist in soliciting donations from local businesses.

Description
Autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication. According to the Centers for Disease Control, autism affects an estimated 1 in 59 children in the United States today.
